Find Dialog
Lets you search for a particular work request, design, design template, unit, material, custom cost, or job default when you know all or part of the item's name and description. With units and materials, you can search by ID number. You can search for any type of item from any view-for example, you can search for a job default from the My Work view. When the search is finished, items that match the search term are displayed in a special pane.

| Item | Specifies the category of item that you are looking for. |
| Search For | Specifies the text that you are looking for. |
| Search the Name Field Only | Restricts the search to the Name field. Otherwise the search includes the Description field. For units and materials, the option is Search the Name/ID Fields Only. |
| Find | Initiates the search. |
| New Search | Clears the Search for another search. |
| Help | Opens the Help topic for this dialog. |
| Matching Items pane | Displays a list of items that match the search term. Double-clicking a matched item opens the folder containing the item and highlights the item in the list view. Right-clicking a matched item displays a shortcut menu with the Properties command, which provides access to the item's Properties dialog . With a Work Request search, additional commands (Design Assistant, Delete, Cancel, and Actions) are included on the shortcut menu. The Design Assistant command opens any design attached to the selected work request. The Actions command displays a submenu for applying a different life-cycle state to the selected work request. With a Design or Template search, the shortcut menu also provides access to the Design Assistant. Some commands may be unavailable because of the work request's current state or the capabilities that have been assigned to your user group. |
